Brain food

It's been ages since I read a book (well, fiction anyway). I guiltily took some time "off" today and read a book I had picked up off the library editor's pick table. Talk about gloomy.
Contemporary fiction, of course. The book is called "Inhabited World" by David Long. It's about a ghost reflecting on his life and what led to his suicide, set here in Seattle. Bleak and dark. Kind of like the season. I wish I were a bear and could hibernate.

  1. I'm reading a series of J.A. Jance "whodunits". His antagonist, J.P. Beaumont, lives in Seattle and contends that Seattle-ites are so used to the cloudy skies that they dislike bright, sunny days. After living in Bellevue for several years I have to disagree with him (but then I'm not a native).

  2. No hibernating for Danielle at the moment though it is nice to get off into another world for a spell (!), even if it is one filled with people and non people - the ghost - going through some tough times.
